Bridal Show

We hosted our annual Danversport Bridal Show this past weekend. Many attendees and vendors said this was the best show they've attended this year. We assembled the area's finest wedding vendors to showcase their services to the North Shore Bride.

Many raffle prizes were awarded and a grand honeymoon giveaway! Here is a quick video of selected clips of the fashion show.

Danversport's Resident Seal

In the winter time it is not unusual for seals to bask themselves in the sun within our marina. Here are some photos that I took on Tuesday, February 22, 2011. We have affectionately named him Pauly, King of the Sea. Pauly spent the better part of the day getting some sun resting on the icepack between the docks. You can see the paths he made sliding along the ice. Upon my arrival on the dock Pauly looked up and checked me out for a few about 10 seconds and then went back to resting. I watched him for about 10 minutes and he wasn't the least bit interested or concerned about me being there. He was very calm and relaxed. We look forward to seeing him over the next few weeks and then he'll be heading out with the ice!

Among awards to wedding vendors, the Knot Best of Weddings is the top of the list of those to “be treasured”. The Knot Best of Weddings 2011 provides a “by brides, for brides” guide to the top wedding professionals. This award is a must-have when it comes to selecting the best-of-the-best wedding resources. We are very excited to have been selected for the honor. Thank you!

NSHA 2010 Awards Banquet

We are proud to be the site for the North Shore Horseman’s Association, Inc. (NSHA) 2010 Awards Banquet. They have been having their banquets with us for many years. We wish to extend a warm congratulations to all of their award recipients.

The NSHA is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting interest and education in horsemanship. The NSHA offers a series of Hunter and Pleasure horse shows with year-end awards in over 65 divisions with many special awards. New Years Balloon Drop

All of our guests had a fabulous night ringing in the New Year, we danced until 1:30am. Check out the video of the Grand Balloon Drop at midnight. Also, we were hosting a wedding in our Garden Terrace ballroom. What a night to celebrate your wedding! New Years Eve 2011 is on a Saturday, as of this blog, the Garden Terrace is available for another New Years Wedding!
